Institute of Forensic and Fraud Investors Confers Fellowship on His excellency Faruk Lawal Jobe.

The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN) has confered its distinguished Fellowship Award on the Deputy Governor Katsina State, Alhaji Faruk Lawal Jobe.
A notification letter signed by the institute's Registrar, Dr. Isa Salifu, says the conferment was in recognition of Alhaji Faruk Jobe's exceptional contributions in the area of forensic accounting and fraud investigation.
The letter notes this development, Jobe will join the elite group of professionals that are dedicated to combatting fraud and corruption and upholding justice and transparency in the public and private sectors.
"The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria is the only professional body chartered by statute with a multidisciplinary and multisectoral mandate to advance and promote the practice of forensics and fraud investigations in Nigeria.
"The Establishment Act of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria, 2022, was signed into law on the 23rd December 2022.
"Its powers and functions include; laboratory forensic analysis for law enforcement agencies, government institutions and the private sector; training, supervision, and regulation of the practice of Forensics and Fraud Investigation in Nigeria", the statement notes.
Meanwhile, the conferment ceremony will be held on the 29th of November , 2024, at the institute's Head Office in Abuja.
